Bengal: TMC MLA Honors 100 Bald Men, Says Bald Individuals Are Intelligent

New Delhi:TMC MLA Shaukat Mollah honored 100 bald men as "intellectuals" in a unique program on Wednesday. He stated that bald men are wise and this initiative was started to boost their morale, which will continue in the coming days.
The event took place in the lively market of Kening, where hundreds of bald men gathered and were presented with flowers and gifts. After the event, Shaukat Mollah remarked that he considers "men with less hair to be wise and they should be recognized as 'intellectuals.'"
The aim of this unique initiative was to encourage individuals who fall victim to social perceptions due to hair loss, dark skin, obesity, or short height. Often, due to baldness, people hesitate to go to public places and feel a dip in their self-esteem during festivals.
Mollah boosted their spirits by giving gifts on the occasion of Vijayadashami. He stated, "Everything is a gift from God. There is no need to feel inferior or troubled about it. I welcome those who have no hair on their heads." Currently, this program has started from two village panchayats and will continue throughout the entire assembly area in the coming days.
Local residents praised the initiative. A local man, Tarun Mondal, said, "I have tried various oils and medicines for hair, but nothing worked. By the age of 40, I had lost all my hair. We are grateful for the MLA's steps taken for support and inspiration."
