Bombay High Court Takes Serious Note of DJ and Laser Light Use During Ganeshotsav

Mumbai, : With Ganeshotsav just days away, concerns over the extensive use of DJs and laser lights during the festival have come to the fore. Every year, the excessive use of high-decibel DJs and bright laser beams during festivals, processions, and celebrations poses a significant threat to public health.
In response to these concerns, a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed in the Bombay High Court, highlighting the adverse effects of such practices. The court has now taken serious note of the petition, marking a significant step toward addressing the potential health hazards associated with the use of loud DJs and laser lights during the upcoming Ganeshotsav celebrations.
The court's intervention underscores the growing awareness of the need to balance festive celebrations with public health and safety, potentially leading to stricter regulations on the use of such equipment in the future.
