Dhubri : Four houses have burnt to ashes in a massive fire that broke out in Bilasipara of Dhubri district on Monday night. The fire broke out in Kathaldi II Khand village. It is suspected that the fire broke out due to an electrical short circuit.
The houses of Ashraf Ali, Naushad Ali, Bala Sheikh and Abdul Haque of the village were completely burnt to ashes in the fire. All the important documents including paddy and rice kept in the house were burnt due to the fire. Property worth more than ₹10 lakh has been damaged due to the fire.
The Bilasipara fire brigade team reached the spot and controlled the fire. Due to which the rest of the houses in the village were saved.
