GOLD futures gains by 1.07% and SILVER futures gains by 0.42%, while CRUDEOIL futures gains by 1.14%

Mumbai : India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has recorded turnover of Rs.56436.86 crores in various futures & option contracts for commodities listed at MCX on 27 November 2024 till 5:30 pm. In which commodity futures accounted for Rs. 14753.3 crores and options on commodity futures for Rs. 41681.88 crores (notional). Bullion Index MCXBULLDEX Dec-24 futures was reached at 18781 point. Commodity Future Contracts: Bullion: In precious metals, Turnover of Gold and Silver variants clocked Rs. 10203.66 crores. GOLD Dec-24 contract was up by 1.07% to Rs. 76018 per 10 gram, GOLDGUINEA Dec-24 contract was up by 0.56% to Rs. 61681 per 8 gram and GOLDPETAL Nov-24 contract was up by 0.96% to Rs. 7664 per gram. On other hand, GOLDM Dec-24 contract was up by 0.94% to Rs. 76000 per 10 gram. SILVER Dec-24 contract was up by 0.42% to Rs. 88622 per kg, while SILVERM Nov-24 contract was up by 0.08% to Rs. 88410 per kg and SILVERMIC Nov-24 contract was up by 0.31% to Rs. 88464 per kg.

Gold futures clocked turnover of Rs. 4224.78 crores with volume of 5542 lots and OI of 14655 lots while Silver futures clocked turnover of Rs. 3374.25 crores with volume of 12523 lots and OI of 32075 lots. Base Metal: Turnover of base metal products accounted for Rs. 1718.03 crores. COPPER Nov-24 contract was up by 1.15% to Rs. 820.95 per kg and ZINC Nov-24 contract was up by 2.02% to Rs. 290.7 per kg while ALUMINIUM Nov-24 contract was up by 0.86% to Rs. 256.85 per kg and LEAD Nov-24 contract was up by 0.68% to Rs. 177.7 per kg. Copper futures clocked turnover of Rs. 860.77 crores, Aluminium futures Rs. 113.52 crores, Lead futures Rs. 21.24 crores, and Zinc futures clocked turnover of Rs. 529.90 crores. Energy: Turnover of energy products contributed for Rs. 2826.36 crores. CRUDEOIL Dec-24 contract was up by 1.14% to Rs. 5842 per BBL while NATURALGAS Dec-24 contract was down by 4.05% to Rs. 279.2 per MMBTU. Crude Oil futures clocked turnover of Rs. 507.69 crores and Natural Gas futures Rs. 1928.20 crores. AGRI: MENTHAOIL Nov-24 contract was down by 0.09% to Rs. 909 per kg and COTTONCNDY Nov-24 contract was up by 0.17% to Rs. 54490 per candy. Options on Commodity Future Contracts: Commodity Options accounted for Rs. 41681.88 crores turnover (notional), having premium turnover of Rs. 1059.86 crores. Crude Oil Options: Most traded contracts among Crude Oil Options were Call Option Dec-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.5800 was up by 19.73% to Rs. 197.80 with volume of 53885 lots & OI of 10948 lots, while Crude Oil Put Option Dec-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.5800 was down by 17.5% to Rs. 159.3 with volume of 54307 lots & OI of 10350 lots. 

Natural Gas Options: Most traded contracts among Natural Gas Options were Call Option Dec-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.290 was down by 27.79% to Rs. 17.80 with volume of 12456 lots & OI of 3706 lots, while Natural Gas Put Option Dec-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.280 was up by 20.81% to Rs. 22.35 with volume of 11683 lots & OI of 2921 lots. Gold Options: Most traded contracts among Gold Options were Call Option Dec-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.80000 was up by 28.82% to Rs. 299.50 with volume of 799 lots & OI of 337 lots, while Gold Put Option Dec-24 contract at Strike price of Rs.75000 was down by 32.61% to Rs. 540.5 with volume of 855 lots & OI of 524 lots. Silver Options: Most traded contracts among Silver Options were Call Option Feb-25 contract at Strike price of Rs.90000 was up by 3.46% to Rs. 4226.00 with volume of 342 lots & OI of 627 lots, while Silver Put Option Feb-25 contract at Strike price of Rs.90000 was down by 6.59% to Rs. 3275 with volume of 180 lots & OI of 474 lots.
