Heartbreaking Disappearance in Kalyan East: 12-Year-Old Girl Found Dead, Couple Arrested

Kalyan East: A 12-year-old girl from Kolsewadi, Kalyan East, was reported missing on Monday evening, only to be found dead the next day near Bapgaon in Bhiwandi. The case shocked the local community as the girl vanished around 4:30 PM while she was out to buy snacks. Despite an extensive search, her body was discovered the following morning, leading to the involvement of the Padgha police.

After reviewing CCTV footage and tracking mobile phone locations, police identified Vishal Gawli, a 35-year-old man with a criminal record, as the prime suspect. It was revealed that Gawli had abducted the girl with the help of his wife, Sakshi Gawli. They were later apprehended, with Sakshi admitting to their involvement in the incident. Vishal was tracked down in Buldhana and arrested.

The couple has been taken into custody and will face charges. The loss has left the community grieving, with local residents calling for justice.
