Improvement in Air Quality in Delhi-NCR, AQI at India Gate at 7 AM Recorded at 169

New Delhi, 04 December : The air pollution situation in the National Capital Region (NCR) has shown some improvement today, as the fourth phase of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) is being implemented to combat the ongoing pollution crisis. This morning, people in the national capital received some relief from air pollution. The Air Quality Index (AQI) at India Gate was recorded at 169 at 7 AM. The minimum temperature in Delhi was 13.05°C.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board's website, at 7 AM, the AQI recorded at various locations in Delhi NCR was as follows:

  • India Gate: 169 (Moderate)
  • Anand Vihar: 250 (Poor)
  • Alipur: 198 (Moderate)
  • Aya Nagar: 164 (Moderate)
  • Chandni Chowk: 187 (Moderate)
  • Dwarka Sector-8: 248 (Poor)
  • ITO: 169 (Moderate)
  • Indirapuram (Ghaziabad): 125 (Moderate)
  • Vasundhara (Ghaziabad): 114 (Moderate)
  • Sector-62 (Noida): 158 (Moderate)
