IRCTC Launches Ashta Jyotirlinga Shravan Special Yatra on Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train

Mumbai, June 18, 2025 | PR No: 2025/6/2 — The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has announced the launch of the Ashta Jyotirlinga Shravan Special Yatra via Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. Departures will be from Solapur on 19th July 2025 and Madgaon on 5th August 2025, offering pilgrims and tourists a spiritual, comfortable, and affordable rail journey to India’s revered Jyotirlingas.

Group General Manager of IRCTC West Zone, Shri Gaurav Jha, stated, “These all-inclusive tour packages aim to make travel seamless for families, solo travelers, and groups alike. The journey includes accommodation, meals, guided sightseeing, and travel insurance, all at highly affordable prices.” The package starts at ₹22,760 per person from Solapur and ₹23,880 from Madgaon.

The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train features a mix of Sleeper, AC III Tier, and AC II Tier coaches, infotainment systems, CCTV surveillance, and an onboard pantry offering freshly cooked meals. The train exterior showcases iconic Indian monuments and cultural landmarks.
