KV Teacher Suspended Over Viral Rant Against Bihar

Jehanabad, Bihar:  A Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) teacher, Dipali Sah, has been suspended after her expletive-laden videos criticizing Bihar and its people went viral on social media, sparking massive backlash.

In the videos, Sah expressed frustration over her posting in Jehanabad, Bihar, calling it “India’s worst region” and blaming the state for India's slow

development. She went on to complain that she would have preferred postings in Goa, Odisha, Ladakh, or Himachal Pradesh rather than Bihar.

Her remarks triggered outrage, with Bihar MP Shambhavi Choudhary writing to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), demanding strict action. She called Sah’s statements “unacceptable and unbecoming of an educator.”

Following public uproar, KVS suspended Sah, citing a breach of professional conduct. However, she defended her statements as personal opinions, refusing to comment further on the controversy.
