PM Modi Urges Nation to Leverage Science for Viksit Bharat on National Science Day

New Delhi, India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings on National Science Day (February 28, 2025), urging the nation to harness the power of science and innovation to build a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi said, “Greetings on National Science Day to those passionate about science, particularly our young innovators. Let’s keep popularising science and leveraging it to build a Viksit Bharat.”

He also referenced his recent Mann Ki Baat address, where he encouraged the youth to observe "one day as a scientist" by engaging in scientific activities.

National Science Day commemorates the discovery of the Raman Effect by Nobel Laureate C.V. Raman on this day in 1928, a breakthrough that revolutionized physics and spectroscopy.
