Nagpur to Mumbai: The final phase of the Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg is now complete, setting the stage for its grand inauguration next month. This six-lane, state-of-the-art expressway, spanning 701 kilometers, cuts travel time between Mumbai and Nagpur from 16 hours to just 8 hours. Designed for speeds up to 150 km/h, it is set to transform Maharashtra's connectivity and economy.

Project Highlights:

• Infrastructure Marvel: Features 65 flyovers, 24 interchanges, six tunnels, and an advanced 8-kilometer twin tunnel near Kasara with cutting-edge German fire safety technology.

• Wildlife and Safety Focus: Over 80 animal crossings, fire sensors, high-speed fans, and dedicated emergency services along the route ensure safety and sustainability.

• Economic Boost: Expected to stimulate industrial and regional growth across 24 districts while reducing fuel costs and transport time.

• Operational Excellence: With an investment of ₹67,000 crore, it has already recorded 1.52 crore vehicles in two years, generating ₹1,100 crore in toll revenue.
